Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site

The Visitor’s Center and Museum at Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site in Milton, Florida boasts a 1,000 square foot exhibit highlighting the site’s unique historical and archaeological past, through interpretive panels and artifacts on display. The museum includes a children’s area, “Meet Me at the Mill” featuring an educational exhibit on archaeology, milling, and the environment with hands-on displays. Admission to the Visitor’s Center and access to site grounds is free to the public!

Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida

Visit the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida and discover the rich, diverse culture of the region through exhibits that include Native American, Panhandle Pioneers, and early industries such as turpentine, fishing, agriculture and more.  Children will have fun in the Discovery Room with hands-on activities, and adults will enjoy Paradise Gardens, a live pollinators exhibit. Experience the charm and discover the past at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, where history lives! Featuring Heritage Alive! Craft Classes and the exhibit Hair Raising History: the weird and wonderful history of beauty.

Historic Pensacola

Historic Pensacola encompasses eight and a half acres and 28 properties located within the footprints of the original Spanish and British forts in downtown Pensacola,including the T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, Historic Pensacola Village, the Pensacola Children’s Museum, and the Voices of Pensacola Multicultural Center.

Our “One Ticket, Seven Days to Explore” ticketing enables you to leisurely visit all of the museums, participate in guided and self-guided tours of historic homes and interact with period-dressed living history interpreters. Come be a part of history!

Pensacola MESS Hall

The Pensacola MESS Hall is a hands on science museum with a mission to inspire curiosity, experimentation, and creative problem solving through the exploration of math, engineering, science, and stuff. Our exhibits and "mess kits" provide visitors the opportunity to think like scientists and perform their own experiments.

 During March, we are coordinating the Gulf Coast Science Festival, a celebration of science in our community. There will be a variety of special events, including a Festival of Flight on March 10 and an Expo Day on March 17.

Pensacola Museum of Art

The University of West Florida's Pensacola Museum of Art presents engaging cross-disciplinary exhibitions, educational programming, and stewards a growing collection of modern and contemporary art of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. The museum aims to promote the understanding and appreciation of art and ideas to audiences in the Northwest Florida region and beyond. We endeavor to create dialogue between university and community audiences by engendering experiences of joy, discovery, and creativity through diverse perspectives, and the transdisciplinary interactions of art, culture, the humanities, science, and technology.
